Here we are going to tell you a few tips which you should keep in mind while shopping for formal or semi-formal shoes.

Comfort comes first: The first thing that you should remember while buying shoes is that they should be comfortable. They should be of a good fit. There are people who buy shoes that are not of their size, and they end up being extremely uncomfortable. They are also hazardous for the feet. While trying the fit of the shoe, you should always remember to try them with those socks on which you are actually going to wear. For example, if you are trying on new formal shoes, make sure that you are wearing nylon socks with them, instead of the usual socks. This will help you get the actual feel of the shoe.

The need: Before buying any shoe, always remember that different shoes are meant for different events. Their black colour shoes are mostly worn at a formal event. Remember this golden rule; darker the shade of black, more formal the event is. People consider brown informal, but that is not the case. Even brown shoes can be worn with formal dressing, provided there is no colour mismatch. Try and buy shoes that can be used for multiple occasions.

Keep in mind your clothes:  The most important point to remember when it comes to choosing your shoes are your clothes, more importantly the dress which you are going to wear for the event.  Agreed that not everyone would want to spend money on shoes, or is not in a position to buy shoes for every occasion. But there are a few basics that you should always follow. Make sure that the colour of your shoes is as c close to the colour of your dress.

If things look confusing, make sure that you have two-three pair of black formal or semi-formal shoes, which can be worn for any occasion.
