1] Uptown Funk – Mark Ronson Featuring Bruno Mars

Recorded for the English Producer Mark Ronson’s fourth studio album Uptown Special, it was released as the lead single off the album on 10th November 2014. It spent 7 weeks on the UK Singles Chart and 9 weeks on the US Billboard Top 100 at number one.

2] Sugar – Maroon 5

Taken from their fifth (imaginatively) titled studio album V (2014), it became the band’s third top ten single from V and hit number two on the Billboard Hot 100 in the US.

3] Thinking Out Loud – Ed Sheeran

Composed by singer-songwriter Ed Sheeran, the song finally peaked at number one on the UK Singles Chart in early November 2014. It has also been ranked No.1 in Denmark, Ireland, New Zealand and The Netherlands.

4] Love Me Like You Do – Ellie Goulding

Recorded by British artist Ellie Goulding as part of the Fifty Shades Of Grey OST, the song has been cruising at the coveted number one spot on the UK Singles Chart for a good four weeks and has also topped the charts in various other countries.

5] FourFiveSeconds – Rihanna & Kanye West & Paul McCartney

A collaborative recording for Rihanna’s upcoming 8th studio album featuring Paul McCartney and Kanye West, it comes as no surprise that this sounds incorporates a variety of genres such as pop, country and folk. It touched number one in Denmark, Australia and New Zealand and peaked at number four on the Us Billboard Hot 100.

6] Earned It – The Weeknd

Another song from the Fifty Shades Of Grey OST by Canadian artist The Weeknd. Apart from reaching at number 7 on the Billboard Hot 100, it also hit the top ten in 10 other countries including the U.K.

7] Style – Taylor Swift

The third track from her fifth studio album 1989, it peaked at number six on the US Billboard Hot 100 becoming the third consecutive top-10 single from the album.

8] Lay Me Down – Sam Smith

Being the first single off his debut album In The Lonely Hour , it hit number 46 on the UK Singles Chart and made an appearance on the Bubbling Under Hot 100 Singles in the US.

Time Of Our Lives

9] Time Of Our Lives – Pitbull & Ne-Yo

A collaboration between Pitbull and Ne-Yo for the former’s 8th album Globalization, it was released as the fifth single from the album. It became Pitbull’s most successful single from the album and went on to making the number nine spot on the Billboard Hot 100. Billboard Top 10

10] Trap Queen – Fetty Wap

Willie Maxwell,whose stage name is Fetty Wap is best known for this single which snagged the number 10 stop on the Billboard Hot 100. He has plans of releasing a self-titled mixtape in 2015.
