Nazca Lines, Peru: It is one the most well-known bizarre sites in the world. What attracts people to this place is the fact that no one knows how the lines were designed. There are also a few conspiracy theories that have emerged, that these lines were the work of extraterrestrials beings.  Whatever the case might be, it sure attracts a number curious visitors who love to have an ‘out worldly’ experience.

Derweze, Turkmenistan: This place is commonly known as the Door to Hell and the name fits perfectly to this place. This crater is located in the heart of the Karakum desert. The burning pit was accidently ignited by Soviet scientists; they thought the pit will burn-off in a few hours. After 43 years, the pit is still burning. It is truly an experience for those who are brave enough to make the journey to the pit.

Aokigahara Forest, Japan:  The Aokigahara Forest lies on the Northwest base of Mount Fiji. It is one the most beautiful places in the world, but it is also the second place where people commit suicide. What makes this place eerie is the silence and the fact that it is devoid of any wildlife. This place should be visited by only those who are happy; we would not want anyone to take the road down to suicide.
