These days people are going for all kinds of shoes; from boots to Flip-flops, to loafers and boat shoes, people are increasingly becoming fond of shoes. There are various shoes which are popular these days, but perhaps the most popular of all the shoes are sneakers. Since the time they have come out, the popularity of sneakers has always been high. Partly because their design and colour signify freedom, and partly because they are funky to look at. There are probably thousands of designs from which one can choose from. It is highly popular amongst the youth. They can be seen wearing sneakers at various events and for any occasion.  However, when it comes to taking care of these shoes, there are many who have difficulty while taking care of them.

Wet shoes: Sneakers these days are mostly used for daily wear, and there are high chances that you can get caught in the rain once in a while or step into a puddle, your sneaker can get wet. You might think that nothing is going to happen to your sneaker, this is where you are wrong. Wet shoes, especially those which are made up of leather, when they dry-up, they tend to crack. The best way to take care for your wet shoes is by stuffing them with newspaper so that the newspaper soaks up all the wetness in the shoe. Also keep the shoe away from direct heat, as it will dry your shoe at a much faster rate and the shoe will crack.

Salt Stains:  In case you have salt stains on your shoes, the best way to remove them is by using a little vinegar and water, which should be applied sparingly.

Smelly Shoes: One of the most common types of problems which people complain is about smelly shoes. Always remember to wash your feet often, and your socks even more frequently. If possible try not to wear the same shoe every day. Have a few pair of shoes and keep rotating them.

How to whiten your sneakers: One of the most common problems that people face is cleaning their white sneakers. In case your sneakers have some kind scruff marks on them, try swabbing them with a nail-polish remover and then cleaning them. Lemon juice is also a good option when it comes to cleaning canvas shoes.
