Self Disclosure: Very often it is the introverts who suffer from dating anxiety. They do not feel very comfortable meeting new people. They feel that they are being scrutinised, hence they treat it like some sort of an interview. This leads to a situation where they take more time to open up to new people. Such people should learn to let their guard down and let their date know about their feelings.

Fear of being judged: One of their biggest fears is the fear of being judged by the other person. This fear is one of the main causes of dating anxiety. They think that the person sitting in front of them is judging them. The reason for such anxiety is because these people usually have a low self-esteem.

Jumping to dreadful conclusions:  If you have dating anxiety, then don’t do the mistake of concluding things to the worst possible outcome, it won’t take you anywhere. On the contrary, it might just weigh you down. Just try and restrain yourself when you start to overthink. Remember that all this happens because you are anxious.

Live in the present: The reason why you have dating anxiety is because you tend to over think; you tend to over think about the past and the future. Don’t think about the results, just do it. The more you think, the more chances that you can spoil the situation.
