Pooja Shroff Presents her Spring/Summer Collection
Titled Floral Rhapsody, Pooja Shroff’s Spring/Summer’ collection depicts an expression of happy emotions just like floral blooms at the onset of spring. The label celebrates styles that are strong yet feminine with contemporary silhouettes for the modern Indian woman.
The inspiration behind this collection has been drawn from splashes of vibrant hues and floral motifs for the upcoming season. The collection incorporates draped and asymmetrical cuts to give a twist to Indian garments. A key element represented in the collection, which is also the USP of the label, is the brilliant use of bright and pastel shades used in monochromes and contrasts this season.
The garments, shaped with fine and intricate details, have exquisite hand embroidered laces, thread work, aari and zardozi embroideries along with appliqués. This collection has a lot of prints and solid colours on muslin, voile, silk chiffon, silk georgette, mulmul and silk which are used to create jumpsuits, capes, sumo pants, anti-fits, maxis and anarkalis. Design details include pleating, sequin texturing, hand embroidered tassels, beautiful prints specially created for this line.
