Maana Patel broke three of her own national records in Pune last week. Patel became the first Indian swimmer to be signed by Olympic Gold Quest (OGQ),an organisation which helps bring the best Indian athletes to the limelight.
She is currently studying in class 11. She spends 12 training sessions in the pool and 3 sessions in the gym per week. Her next aim is to do well in Commonwealth Youth Games which will be held in Samoa in September and the Asian Group Championships which will be held in Bangkok in October.
