An intensive tour lays ahead of PM Modi

Prime Minister Narendra Modi will kick start his two-nation tour today. He will visit Ireland and the United States in his tour. This particular tour has everyone their eyes glued to the proceedings. This phenomenon is not just restricted to businessmen, but also the average citizen.

People are expecting the same kind of response  PM Modi had at Madison Square Garden. There is a lot of hype which has been created by his followers and also himself. The tour will start on September 23rd and will end on September 29th.

Modi in his Facebook posts told what he will be doing during his visit. Here is what is schedule will look like-

September 23– Modi will be visiting Ireland on September 23rd. He will be the first Indian prime minister to visit the country in almost 60 years. There he will hold talks with his Irish counterpart, Prime Minister Taoiseach Enda Kenny.
“We hope to further develop strong people-to-people and economic ties with Ireland in the years to come. In Ireland I will also interact with the Indian community,” he wrote on his Facebook post.

September 24 – Modi will visit the US. This will also be his second visit to the country. His first visit as the PM was a huge hit. Modi and his supporters are working round the clock to make this visit even more successful than the previous one. Modi will also address the UN sustainable Development Summit for formal adoption of post -2015 new sustainable development agenda. Modi will also participate in a summit hosted by US President Barack Obama in peacekeeping.
Modi will also host a summit of G-4 leaders in New York, where the primary agenda will be the United Nations Security Council reforms. He will also meet representatives of major Fortune-500 companies and talk about the investment opportunities in India.

September 26th -27th – Modi will visit the West-Coast and participate in several programmes. In his Facebook post he wrote, “It would be a gap of almost 33 years that an Indian PM would be visiting the west coast – the home of start-ups, innovation and technology.”He will also take part in a Town hall Q&A at the Facebook HQ along with Mark Zuckerberg.

September 27th – Nasscom, TIE Silicon Valley and IIM Ahmedabad’s CIIE will host the first India-US startup Konnect in the Silicon Valley. The objective is to showcase the strengths of India’s startup ecosystem. The daylong event will highlight multiple dimensions of Indian innovation capabilities which will be represented by more than 30 startups across various fields such as agriculture, healthcare, energy, financial inclusion and biotechnology. The startups will exhibit products prototypes and achievements to their investors and other potential Valley partners.
